Abstract

The field notes and drawings document William Holmes' field work in Cholula, in the state of Pueblo, Mexico, during 1884. Field Notes describe artifacts (pottery), structures, and settlement. Notes include detailed illustrations with notes; some illustrations are highly detailed. Also includes notes entitled, "pyramids of Mexico," that describes building materials, construction, appearance., excavations, and area habitat (e.g. vegetation).
