Abstract

The volume documents botanical collecting completed as part of the project, "Documentation and Revitalization of the Language and Traditional Ecological Knowledge of the Isthmus Zapotec Community." The notebook documents work conducted during October 1, 2013 to May 4, 2014. Entries are in Spanish and dated. They list names of project participants, locations information (latitude and longitude and narrative description of terrain and landmarks), altitude, type of habitat (e.g. selva baja caducifolia), flora observed (common name). Also includes notes relating to specific events and lists (e.g. directions, expenses).
