Abstract

The documents relate to the field work of James Lynch mist netting for Oscar's Acahual in Quintana Roo, Mexico, circa 1984-1985. Includes summaries of results and mist net data sheets. Data sheets were pre-printed and list site name (e.g. Acahual), observer names, date, net day, weather (temp., wind, clouds, precip., end temp.), time nets opened, time closed, followed by a table of data that contains time, net #, tier, species, new or recpt, band (color, leg, size), sex, age, molt, weight, and comments. Comments often provide additional information about birds collected like band numbers and state of plumage.
