Abstract

The slides document the field work of James Lynch in the Yucatán in Mexico, circa 1979-1995. Slides are stamped with month and year developed, and contain captions that identify type of bird (common name), characteristics including sex and observed behavior, and sometimes location. Images show groups of birds in habitat, close up views of individual birds and their anatomy. Also includes a few images of colleagues (with names) of insects.
