Abstract

The documents relate to James Lynch's study of birds at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (Maryland) as part of a winter bird count during 1998-1999. Contains a memorandum to participants, results of the 1998 bird count, and bird checklists. The checklists are pre-printed and list date, sector number, party size, party hours, observer names, sometimes miles (foot, car, boat, and total), followed by a list of bird species (common name) and quantity observed.
