Abstract

The documents relate to James Lynch's study of birds at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (Maryland) as part of a bird survey point count during 1992. Contains data recording forms, a copy of marker location notes, and point count data sheets that were filled out by observers. The sheets list name of observer, date, site coordinates, general location, weather (temperature, cloud cover (%), and wind speed), habitat type, CHT (m), main tree spp., survey characteristics (standard count start and end time, playback start and end time), map of count area with notes where birds were observed, and a table listing summary of first detections in 5 minute increments.
