Abstract

This is one of two notebooks containing data on work done at Woods Hole, Massachusetts in the August 26 - October 4 1882. Observations covered are numbered 1021-1155. Data recorded include instrument used, number of observation, date, locality, bearings, time of day, depth, nature of bottom and notes on catch. Compiled by P. Parker and Randolph H. Miner. Remarks list species by scientific name. Locations named include the vicinity of Nantucket Island, Martha's Vineyard, Block Island, and Menemsha Bight.
