Abstract

The bird count sheets document James Lynch's study of birds in the Chesapeake western shores during 1979. Bird count sheets are pre-printed and list observer's initials, plot no., visit no., area, followed by a table that lists SP. LPHA code (appears to be code for bird observed), and observations in five minute intervals for singing males, non singing adults, adult fly overs, all adults, and "immatures."
