Abstract

The bird count sheets document James Lynch's study of birds in the Chesapeake western shores during 1979. The first sheets contain tables and lists of compiled data, presumably from the sheets, that document observations in Anne Arundel, Prince Georges, Queen Anne, Kent, and Charles County. Bird count sheets are pre-printed and list observer's initials, plot no., visit no., area, followed by a table that lists SP. LPHA code (appears to be code for bird observed), and observations in five minute intervals for singing males, non singing adults, adult fly overs, all adults, and "immatures."
