Abstract

The maps document James Lynch's study of roadkill during 1992 - 1995. The folder includes multiple copies of a map for Route 468 between Contee's Wharf Road and Cedarhurst Road in the vicinity of Edgewater, Maryland. The maps include a symbol key for types of animals found as roadkill (opossum, raccoon, house cat, gray fox, cottontail rabbit, dog, gray squirrel, striped skunk, white-tailed deer, and muskrat). Some maps are annotated with date and symbol for type of animal. Some also include a summary of observations. Also includes a table of compiled data for 262 days of observations along the stretch of road.
