Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1897 documents sea bottom specimens collected from Stephen's Passage in southeast Alaska during May 17 - June 26, 1888. The party was commanded by Lieut. Com'd'r. C. M. Thomas, U.S.N. Table of data contains dates, section no., locality, fathoms, and notes. Includes a note at the bottom, "see also Hydrographic Sheets nos. 1898, 119, 1920, 1922, and 1923."
