Abstract

The volume documents Berlese samples and ectoparasites collected on Sand-Johnson Island during 1965. The book is divided into two sections "B" and "E." Section "B" contains Berlese samples begun January 1 to 15, 1965 on Sand-Johnson Island with a table of data including cataloger no. (B1 -B514), field no., date, area (e.g. H), soil temp (Celsius), no. of ticks, and remarks. Remarks include the scientific name of vegetation in habitat (e.g. sesuvium). The section marked "E" contains an ectoparasite catalog for Sand-Johnson Island, April 13, 1965, with a table of data including number (E1 to E30), species (scientific name), bird, ident #, collectors, date, and remarks. Remarks include additional information about specimen or host.
