Abstract

The volume documents the collecting of ectoparasites during the Southern Island Cruise (SIC) 17, January 19 to February 28, 1967. It contains a table of description including specimen number, host number, host (scientific name), locality (island name), date, type of collection, notes, notes (nesting status Berlese), and collectors. Collectors include but are not limited to F. C. Thompson, R. W. Tusxon, F. Smith, and R. S. Crossin. Localities include at-sea and islands: Howland, Phoenix [Rawaki], Baker, Enderbury, and Hull.
