Abstract

The data sheets and maps document the swamp sparrow census conducted by Russell Greenberg in Delaware during summer 2001. The notes include printed maps with notations reflecting areas were observations were made and recorded. Observations were recorded on preprint sheets and list observer name, date, time, USGS topo map name, point (e.g. 228), sky code, GPS coords. (lat long dec deg), followed by a table of data about bird species types and quantities, an estimation of vegetation coverage (vegetation data) with types of vegetation coverage listed and percentage observed. O Some also include comments at the bottom providing additional information about birds and habitat. On the verso of each sheet are instructions and information regarding the meaning of abbreviations and codes.
