Abstract

The observation cards document of the work of Russell Greenberg regarding swamp sparrows. Cards are preprinted. On the front, it lists nest ID (e.g. BB1-01), species (e.g. SWSP), plot (e.t. BB1), station (latitude and longitude), substr 1, substr 2, cover, nst. ht. (m). On verso, it lists a table of description: NID (mo., day, time, min @ nest), Nest ID (observer, stage, nest cont. seen, # egg), species (# yng. , adult loc., adult activity, min. age yng., max. age yng., and comments. Comments often relate to bird behavior. Cards are organized into groupings: BB1 - Bowers Beach, BB2, BB3, BH1-tower, BH2-lighthouse, BH3-brickhouse. Locations are in Delaware including Bowers Beach.
