Abstract

The volume documents Richard Osman's field work monitoring marsh, river and cove panels during April 24, 2000 to October 3, 2001. The notebook begins with a list of things to take into the field. The volume contains a variety of information and formats. The first entry is dated, contains a description of the collecting location including references to the presence of smell and appearance of oil. This is followed with a list of sample numbers and location information; numbered seine locations with lists of numbers; tables of information about core samples listing core number, type of fauna found and quantity. The latter half other notebook contains information about river and cove panels: date (May 1 2000 to October 3, 2001, panel number, followed by type of fauna found and quantity. Location likely in southern New England.
