Abstract

The field notes document field work of Denton W. Crocker during 1969. Sheets are headed with station number (e.g. DWC 437 to DWC 542), date, collector names (abbreviated), location information (directions to), description of habitat (water width, depth, visibility, bottom), type of fauna collected (scientific name) as well as quantity and sex. There are numbers written in later by fauna names that appear to be USNM specimen numbers (e.g. 176074). There are sometime additional remarks about collecting location or specimens. There is also a typed list of localities with notes. Locations include but are not limited to New York, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
