Abstract

The folder of photo panels (slides) document the field work of William Osman relating to benthic marine life during 1979. Images show benthic marine life growing on plates that have been submerged in areas along the coast of California. Slides have captions that include size (e.g. S), identifier (e.g. A3 2N), month and year (e.g. 8-79), and unidentified information (64-71). There are between two to four images per panel, and sometimes there are additional remarks listed in between images relating to abundance of marine life observed.
