Abstract

The box of slides documents the field work of William Osman relating to benthic marine life during 1979. Images show benthic marine life growing on plates that have been submerged in areas along the coast of California. Slides have captions that include size (e.g. L), identifier (A2 4N), month and year (7-79), and unidentified information (63-0). Slides are organized into four columns and described on a piece of paper lining the inside of the box lid. Description includes column headings 8N and 4N. Cells in rows include letters and references to size, families, and "dupes."
