Abstract

The box of slides documents the field work of William Osman relating to benthic marine life during 1978-1979. Images show marine life growing on plates that have been submerged in areas along the coast of California. Slides have captions that include size (e.g. S), identifier (E4 1N), month and year (7-79), and unidentified information (62-52). The slides are divided into two columns described on a sheet of paper lining the box lid. Notes mostly relate to size, family, and "dupes."
