Abstract

The box of slides documents the field work of William Osman relating to benthic marine life during 1978-1980. Images show marine life growing on plates that have been submerged in areas along the coast of California. Slides have captions that include size (e.g. L), identifier (B1 5S), month and year (e.g. 5-79), and unidentified information (e.g. 53-52). Slides are divided into four columns and described on a piece of paper lining the inside of the box lid. Four columns are headed A, C, E, and G, followed with five rows containing information about size, dupes, and family.
