Abstract

The field notes document work of Perry Holt relating to the study of aquatic invertebrates in Gloucester Point, Virginia, May 20, 1960, and Texas during March 17 - 23, 1962. The first entry is headed with the title "expedition to Glouster[sic] Point, " followed with notes organized by location number(?) (e.g. G.P.1), date, location information (combination of county, roads, landmarks, and distance from), and description of habitat (water characteristics, vegetation present, types of pollution). The trip to Texas includes similar details with identifiers in the format of T-#. Additional identifiers were added later (e.g. 1504).
