Abstract

The folder documents the work of William Osman regarding benthic marine life in the vicinity of Catalina and Santa Cruz during 1978-1980. The first sheet lists materials left behind, a list of specific predators, additions to the hard benthos species list, notes on sampling dates, followed with data sheets. Data sheets are headed with station ID (e.g. 31), date exposed, station (e.g. CAT1), size, number (e.g. A1-4), followed with a table containing species name, species number, with twelve dates and counts. Data sheets are organized with tabs: tube racks, crete, photo notes, Santa Cruz, plates, and data sheets.
