Abstract

The folder documents the work of William Osman regarding the use of concrete block plates and R-Day cages in order to study area benthic marine life during the summer of 1978. The first sheet is a copy of a key to the "computer coding of station ID and plate no. on the data sheets." Sheets are headed with form no. (e.g. 1), station ID (e.g. 16), plate no. (0025012 to 0025022), date exposed, station (e.g. 50N), size, and number (e.g. DAS-P), followed with a table containing species name species number, and twelve counts with corresponding dates. The sheets are organized with tabs containing the following headings: 50N, Waples Reef, SMK1, SMK2, SOK1, SOK4, and 50 South.
