Abstract

The folder documents the work of William Osman regarding benthic marine life during the summer of 1977. The first page contains a key to symbols used on the data sheets, including colors used. The data sheets are headed with form number, station ID, plate number, date exposed, stations, size, number, followed with a table of data containing: species name, form, no., species number, and counts for twelve dates. Not al fields are consistently filled in. There are also notes regarding missing station sampling sheets, as well as notes explaining that some sheets were copied.
