Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of S. F. Light on freshwater copepods during 1929-1941, and relate to the Kenk and Juday collection at the Division of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History. Entries are organized by number (1853-1872), date (nonsequential), scientific name of specimens and quantity, notes on abundance (e.g. no diaptomids), and sometimes location information. Some specimens were noted to be collected from temporary bodies of water. Locations include but not limited to Michigan.
