Abstract

The volume documents the work of Judy Gradwohl while working for the National Zoological Park on the Plateau at Barro Colorado Island (Panama) during August 3 - 29, 1983. Entries are dated, and lists observations of vegetation in the forest, leaf collections, and birds observed. Information is often recorded using abbreviations, and lists sex, type, characteristics, and information about nests. Several entries are headed "dead leaf peak" and appear to list information about vegetation and insects found.
