The field data documents the work of Meredith L. Jones and Edmundo Nonato, undated. The collection of papers includes a letter from Edmund Nonato at Instituto Oceanografica, Universidade de São Paulo [Brazil], dated March 25, 1966, that relates to specimens and work completed at Flamengo's Bay and Anchieta Island; a list of specimens from Nonato with quantity and location information; and data on loose sheets. The data sheets contain a variety of information; sometimes location is listed at the top. Locations sometimes clearly relate to Nonato's work. Frequently the dates are unclear. Sheets often include lists of measurements (e.g. 39/40R) in columns headed with "complete" or "incomplete", interspersed with notations. There is also a table of data listing location information, description of bottom of body of water (e.g. mud, shell debris), AS, AF, B, C, D, 10/11, 11/12, and IGC.
