Abstract

The black and white photographs document field work of Paul Bartsch during Smithsonian-Roebling Expedition to Cuba photographs during 1937. Photographs include captions, which lists information about subject matter, names of individuals, and location. Images show scientific staff (with names), loading supplies, flora and fauna (including birds), and habitat including shoreline. There are numerous of flocks of birds in flight, identified by common name. Some birds include Cabbot terns and Ridgeway's Osprey.
