Abstract

This volume is a collection of letters of Timothy W. Stanton about his field work under auspices of the US Geological Survey during July 8, 1924 - November 29, 1925. Letters document his field work in Nevada, California, Wyoming, Colorado, 1924; Texas, 1925. Letters are addressed to numerous individuals, and headed with Stanton's location, date, name and location of addressee. In these letters, Stanton discusses his work with colleagues, daily work, expenses, logistics and planning for upcoming field trips, and observations about the specimens.
