Abstract

The volume is a copy of letters sent by Timothy W. Stanton about field work within the auspices of US Geological Survey during September 17, 1912 -June 30, 1914. Letters are hand written and addressed to numerous individuals. They are headed with address of the sender and date, name and address of the recipient. They list information on expenses, correspondence with colleagues about the field work, travel information, and personal notes. Locations of the field work include: Pocatello, Idaho 1912; Great Falls, Cut Bank, Montana 1912; Casa Salazar, New Mexico, 1912; Washington, DC, 1913-1914.
