PrintThis collection contains field data sheets of Raymond B. Manning during his trip to Tunisia for the Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History, in August 10, 1973 - February 24, 1974. Most data sheets contain information on: date, field no., time, coll. by, locality, water temp. (e.g. 82°F), salinity, photographs, and general notes. The notes document scientific name of the specimens, photos, habitat, abundance, measurements, count, methods of collection. There are a several notations about the photographs on the back of the field data sheets. Locations include: Salammbo, Sidi bou Said, Gulf of Tunis, Sebkha Ariana, Nefta, and Carthage.
