Abstract

This collection contains field data sheets of Raymond B. Manning during his trip to Tunisia for the Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History, in August 10, 1973 - February 24, 1974. Most data sheets contain information on: date, field no., time, coll. by, locality, water temp. (e.g. 82°F), salinity, photographs, and general notes. The notes document scientific name of the specimens, photos, habitat, abundance, measurements, count, methods of collection. There are a several notations about the photographs on the back of the field data sheets. Locations include: Salammbo, Sidi bou Said, Gulf of Tunis, Sebkha Ariana, Nefta, and Carthage.
