Abstract

This notebook documents the work of James F. Luhr in Armenia during September 10-23, 2014. Notes contain extensive personal notes about the trip, itinerary, contact information on site. Entries include: date, directions to the collection site, information on the photographs of the specimens, and specimen information. Specimens are described by: identifier (e.g. 3-11-04), GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), area (e.g. 2319 m.), type of rock, color, geological characteristics, inclusions, count, and measurements. Some entries include sketches of cross sections and terrain, personal observations. There is a list of specimen units that provides information on: size (e.g. 60 cm), type of rock, color, inclusions, and composites. Locations include: Yerevan, Mauacharsky Plateau, Djerbashan, Saakasar, v. Karaburun, v. Khonarassar.
