Abstract

This notebook documents the work of James Luhr in Colima, Mexico during March 5, 2000 - April 9, 2001, which commemorates the 7th mission at this location. Entries provide information about: itinerary, date, location (latitude, longitude), time at collection site (arrived, left, intervals, e.g. 40 minutes), type of activity, and list of specimens. The specimens are listed by: identifier (e.g. SAY-22G), color, inclusions, type of rock, max.size of scoriae and lithics, measurements in metric system. A list of scoriae and carbon in 2000 is given the end of the notebook. Locations include: Apaxtepec, Nevado, Cerro Tezantle, and Colima.
