Abstract

This notebook documents the work of James F. Luhr related to volcanology in Camargo, Isabel and Sangangüey during May 1, 1998 - October 5, 1999. Entries include: directions to the collection site, description of eruption flows, detailed account of collected specimens (identifier e.g. CHI-101, location: latitude, longitude, color, type of rock/sample, inclusions, measurements in metric system), notes on photography. Occasionally there are sketches of cross sections, terrain and lava flows. Another set of data is presented for peridotite xenoliths,lherzolites, petrology, FIIR, peridotites. Geometric calculations can be found towards the end of the notebook.
