Abstract

This notebook documents the work of James Luhr in Camargo, Mexico during 1995. Some entries provide information about the itinerary of the trip. There is an insert in Spanish with a table of localities of the specimens providing data on: no., no. de muestra, localidad, coordenadas (latitud, longitud), analisis (retrografico, quimico, geocronologico), observaciones. Field notes record: location, date, directions to the collection site, and a list of sample identifiers. Some entries include references to maps and sketches of calderas and cross sections,. Samples are described by: identifier (e.g. CHI-3), locality (with coordinates), type of rock, reference to photo number, and other geological characteristics.
