Abstract

The field notes document work of James Luhr in Yucca mountain area during August 23, 1993 - September 16, 1994. Entries provide information on: date, directions to the collection site, location (with the indication of latitude and longitude), sample identifier (e.g. Sample 82393-2). Samples description include: quantity and count of samples gathered (e.g. 2 bags), type of rock (e.g. bulk scoriae) and inclusions (e.g. with dark olivine). Notes on photos record: location, photo numbers, and brief description of the photo. Some entries have sketches of cross sections, eruption flows, and stratigraphic charts.
