Abstract

The volume is a copy of letters sent by Timothy F. Stanton about field work during August 25, 1908 to July 18, 1909. They are dated, and headed with Stanton's location and name of recipient. Letters are addressed to numerous individuals and describe intended destinations, specimen shipments, field work completed, observations, and work with colleagues. Letters written by Stanton document field work in Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming, 1908; Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and North Dakota, 1909.
