Abstract

The volume contains copies of field letters from Timothy F. Stanton while a Geologist with the US Geological Survey, during August 16, 1906 - August 7, 1909. Letters are dated, and headed with name of recipient and Stanton's location. Letters contain information about photographs taken, specimen shipments, field work details like routes traveled, logistics, work completed, observations, fossils collected, and names of colleagues. Letters are addressed to numerous individuals. The letters document work in Colorado, 1906; Wyoming and Montana, 1907; Montana and Wyoming, 1908.
