Abstract

The black-and-white photographs were taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, in 1964 and 1967. They depict hermit crabs and coconut crabs on Enderbury Island, Palmyra Island, and Starbuck Island. Labels with brief captions are included on the reverse of the photographs.
