Abstract

The black-and-white photographs were taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program in 1965 and 1966. The photographs depict sea turtles on the beach, turtle diggings, and a dead green sea turtle. One photograph depicts a diseased portion of a turtle flipper. The photographs were taken on Birnie Island, French Frigate Shoals, Phoenix Island, and Trig Island. Labels with brief captions are included on the reverse of the photographs.
