PrintThe notebook documents the fieldwork of Everett Dale Jackson on Niihau during October 1975. Entries provide information about date, names of collectors, detailed route description, sample identifier (e.g. 15 NII-1). Samples are described by the following: location identifier, specific location at the field site, sometimes description of terrain and geological structure, geological characteristics, inclusions, count, measurements, coarseness. Another set of data includes a table numbered as 75505 I-1 with what appears to be a sample number, measurements in inches (e.g. .7 x .9), geological characteristics of the sample (e.g. angular, blocky, planar lamination), information about inclusions (e.g.pc 30 .5 intensified). All pages are numbered.
