Abstract

The notebook documents a trip of Everett Dale Jackson in Niihau during 1970. The information is provided on: date, location, collectors, detailed directions to the collection site, specimen identifier (e.g. 70 NII-1). The samples of minerals are described by: description of terrain, geological characteristics, inclusions, color, physical characteristics, measurements, structure, and sometimes, a mentioning of the sample photographs. Field work was predominantly done on Niihau and Oahu islands in Hawaii.
