Abstract

The notebook documents the fieldwork of Everett D. Jackson at the Stillwater complex in Montana, August 6 - September 2, 1954. The volume begins with a table of contents that lists page number, description, date, and specs (appears to be specimen numbers e.g. 54EDJ-59). Description contains location information. Entries are dated, headed with location, initials of team members, followed by narrative style content that describes traverses. Details include observations of terrain, composition of ground including types of minerals, and routes. Locations include but are not limited to Prairie Dog Creek, Nye Cliff, and Crescent Creek.
