Abstract

The notebook documents the fieldwork of Everett D. Jackson at the Stillwater complex in Montana, June 25 - July 23, 1953. The volume begins with an index listing range of pages and description (location information). Entries are dated, headed with initials of team members, location information, followed by narrative structured entries. Some contain descriptions of traverses, with observations of terrain, composition of exposed surfaces, and specimen information (location and identifier e.g. 53MV-9). Includes hand drawn maps.
