Abstract

This field book contains a list of birds observed on Bering Island / Ostrov Beringa, Copper Island / Ostrov Mednyy, Kamchatka peninsula, and perhaps other locations near the Bering Sea region. Entries are dated mostly in the summer of 1883, and are not chronological. Descriptions of birds can be as long as a paragraph noting colors and where found and sometimes include references to taxonomic literature.
