Field notes, 1950-1965

Abstract

This item contains unbound sets of field notes ranging from 1947-1965. Most notes relate to field trips taken in Mexico. There is a 1 sentence note in Spanish before the cover page. The following materials are included: a hand written and typed list of type localities, receipts, itinerary and notes from a 1947-1948 trip that was presumably in the Michoacan and Jalisco states in Mexico (descriptions of specimen divided into reptiles and amphibians). What seem to be lab notes have been added on to 1947-1948 notes. Miscellaneous notes for collecting in Michigan from July 12 and 25, 1947 with Philip Clark that sometimes include the road or street where specimen was found. Also what look like miscellaneous lab notes. Also included is a list of expenses from 6 June-5 September of an unknown year, information about 1965 Ecuador trip, including some notes about boxes shipped, list of specimen with some hand drawn maps from 6-23 October 1965, information about traveling to Galapagos (Oct. 1965), newspaper clippings, some notes from June 1950, and a list of species new to Michoacan fauna, undated. Items listed above do not necessarily exist in the same order in the item.
