Abstract

The field notes documents the work of Russ Greenberg in Russia, likely during the 1990's. The volume appears to related to Greenberg's study of birds' foraging in arboreal habitats. There are numerous notes inside the front cover. Entries are organized by location, headed with month and date (being June 1st), weather, sometimes, range of time, followed with observations of birds (type, quantity, behavior, relative location) and habitat including types of trees. Locations are in but not limited to the vicinity of Tunguska River.
