Abstract

This field book documents the bird watch trip of Russell Greenberg in Xalapa [Jalapa Enríquez] and Chiapas during 2001. The fly leaf contains information on the methods of data gathering as well as contact information. Data sheets cover location and/or # of the birding station, date and times of observation, type, sex, and measurements of birds observed, and general notes. General notes include information about weather and visibility. Another type of data presented is Greenberg's thoughts about the concepts of neophobia and innovation in the behavior of birds, including the type of testing and characteristics.
