Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of Russ Greenberg for the Polochic Coffee Project in 1995. The project studied birds in habitat comprised of coffee plantations along the Polochic River in Guatemala. There are phrases written in Kechki and translated into Spanish at the beginning of the volume. Entries include numbered lists of observations. These contain information about composition of vegetation in habitat and birds present (type, sex, possibly quantity). Some entries include notes describing bird feeding with time of day.
